My name is Jeanne, and me and sister's Judy and Joyce were very close to Roland growing up in West Allis Wisconsin. He had many talents, artistic and musical. He drew characters for Mc Donald's! He played guitar for many artists, and also was a very talented musician! But not only that, he was a wonderful man, and I consider him a great friend. I could not believe the story of his death. So Very tragic. His life and his very creative and beautiful art deserve alot of attention. It was so amazing and beautillll You are remembered and loved. I miss talking to you Roland. Love to you and family.

I knew Roland well. He was not only an accomplished Artist but created business signs in his Milwaukee southside business. I helped him occasionally there while listening to the many stories about music as he was a musician as well. God Bless. found a high school yearbook photo even though I have forgotten the school he went to. And a High School performance on stage as well. My name is Judy Lachner and Roland was my very first boyfriend when I was in the 8th grade. I knew his parents well and we spent about a year together in junior high school. He was such a talented individual from music to painting to sculpturing. I would have to say that he had so much talent I don't know anyone who had more diversity. Also a kind, wonderful and sensitive young man who I had the pleasure of really getting to know and have so much fun with. What a trajedy his death was but know that he was loved by me and by many.
