Elario 'Larry' Anthony Rinaldis
Elario "Larry" Anthony Rinaldis, 81, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013, in Kingman. He was born Dec. 4, 1931, to Giuseppe and Amelia Rinaldis in Rochester, N.Y.
After moving to Lake Havasu City in 1973, he opened the Versailles Restaurant, which operated for 26 years. During the same time period he also owned and operated Quality Construction Company and was considered a pioneer of Lake Havasu City. After retiring, he became a founder in Mohave State Bank and was a collector of classic cars in hopes of one day restoring them all.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; son, Larry (Jida) Rinaldis of Beijing, China; two daughters, Wendy (Jim) Pool of Lake Havasu City and Stacey (Kevin) Bartlett of Henderson, Nev. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Michael in 1972; daughter Trudy in 2000; both parents; and his brother, Carmen.
A special thanks to all the doctors and caregivers at KRMC, Fresenius, The Gardens, and Stansell and Hughes in Kingman. Your special attention and care made his 16-month struggle more bearable.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, in the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City.
