Obituary of Theodore Zienka

Theodore Zienka, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on November 20, 2014, he was 96. Ted was born on February 25, 1918, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Caroline and Kazimierz Zienka.
Ted wed his beautiful bride, Shirley Isabel McKay, in the summer of 1943. They recently celebrated seventy-one great years together. A McCulloch flight brought the couple to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1973, where they established Maricopa Electronics.
Ted was a starter at the London Bridge golf course in the 1970's. He was also a member of the Elks, the American Legion, and the VFW. He served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Ted was a hard working man and great provider for his family. He was very handy and "could fix anything."
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Caroline and Kazimierz Zienka and his brother, Stanley Zienka. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Zienka; sons, Ted (Judy) Zienka Sr., of St. Croix, Bahamas and Tom (Karen) Zienka, of Show Low, Arizona; and daughter, Karen Meixner, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be held for Ted at 1:00pm, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Ted's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
