Obituary of Geneva Hollar

Please share a memory of Geneva to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Geneva Hollar, 86, of Lake Havasu City went home to be with Jesus on March 18, 2016. She was born Geneva Shockley to Fred and Sarah Beulah Shockley in Paducah, Texas on October 17, 1929. Geneva is survived by her sister Irene, her two sons Rod Walker (June), Milton Walker (Jerre), her daughter Sandra Lawler (Andy), 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Geneva was a post war Rosie Riveter for Boeing and Lockheed Aircraft. Later in life she was a masseuse at the Golden Door Health Spa for Women. Her main interest in life was helping people to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and assuring themselves forgiveness of sins and an eternity in Heaven. She often said "We have to save as many people as we can from an eternity in hell". She had an unconditional love for her family and prayed for each one of us every day. She was the moral compass and guiding light for our family. She will be greatly missed. In the mean time we will follow in her footsteps and see her again on that day. A memorial service will be held at Lake Havasu Baptist Church on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 am. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Geneva's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com
