Obituary of Frank Braga

Frank Braga, 81, passed away at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ on Friday, February 5, 2016. He was born on February 2, 1935 in Fall River, MA to Frank and Idalina Braga. He moved to Lakeside, CA in 1969 where he met and married his wife, Carol Braga. While in California, he was employed in the construction field as a truck driver, both locally and over-the-road. Frank and Carol moved to Lake Havasu City in 1994 from Lakeside, CA where he was employed by Whelchel Trucking Co. and D.L. Campbell, Co., Inc. as a driver. Frank loved boating, desert and mountain camping, quad riding, NASCAR and his dogs. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Carol of Lake Havasu City, AZ; children, Robert Braga of El Cajon, CA; Debi McGrath (Wally) of Lakeside, CA; step-son, Kevin Zilis (Linda) of Laughlin, NV; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Lynn Papa of RI and brother, Kenneth Braga of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Frank also leaves behind his faithful, 12 year old "pound puppy', Daisy. A special thank you to Continuum Home Hospice, LLC for their compassion and care. Per his wishes, no memorial service is planned. Donations in his honor may be sent to Continuum Home Hospice or Western Arizona Animal Shelter.
