Dexter, even though we did not know you long you became a dear friend of Paul and I .
You will be missed at Starbucks but May you rest in piece.
Our prayers are with the family you left behind to carry on like you would want them too.
You were a wonderful friend!

But of course I will, and I will keep my memories of our friendship in my heart forever! You were the Best Friend a Girl could ever have and I was so blesed to be that girl. Lol indeed. He insisted I learn to change the tire and the oil before he let me drive a car.

Dexter was my oldest big brother and used to call me "bug" - not sure if that's because I was always bugging him as a little sister does, but it probably was. He loved his family and always wanted to be near them. When John and I moved to Lake Havasu City, he moved here a few years later. He loved the weather in Havasu which allowed him to ride his motorcycle year round, do some gold panning and he was always looking for that "juicy nugget." He also loved going to the many car shows. He made many friends in Havasu. I wish now that I had more time with him. Rest in peace big brother.

He took me for my first motorcycle ride during which he stopped to explain how to shift the gears and operate the bike! Typical Dexter - even though I was about 10 years old at the time…my first riding instruction that must have put the motorcycle bug in my head and a memory I will never forget.

Dad was the best father. He taught us to believe in ourselves and to go after our dreams. He used to tell me to shoot for the moon and if you only get halfway that is ok too. He was very protective and loved us very much. He was indeed a good Christian and accepted what was happening. He told me it was ok, he had lived a good life and out lived many others. I was not ready but I know I will see him again.

To my big brother who was called home far sooner than those who knew him would prefer. His kindness, his generosity, his acceptance of life as it is was an inspiration to many who knew him. Dexter had the courage to accept his fate as he was a good christian and had faith in the Lord. His family and a special friend were with him to the end. You will live in our hearts forever.
RIP Bro.
