JAQUELINE BRUTON CRONE
Jacqueline Bruton Crone, 93, of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. She was born February 27, 1920 to Ben Bruton and Mamie Record Bruton in Tira, TX, Hopkins County.
Jacque came to Arizona with her family when she was 18. She met William E. "Bill" Crone of Tucson, AZ. They were married August 6, 1941 at North Central Methodist Church, Phoenix, AZ. They made their home in Tucson, AZ.
Jacque and Bill had 61 years together. After Bill was home from 3 years in World War II, they moved to Yuma, AZ. Bill, was an agent for Southern Pacific R.R. and Jacque worked with First Federal Savings and Loan Association in Yuma.
She was always active in her church, First United Methodist, Yuma and children's activities. Her church family was very dear to her. Jacque's passion was staying in touch with her many friends and family wherever they were; most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Ron W. Crone and his wife Jan of Lake Havasu City, AZ, daughter Nelda Jeanne Hudson and Paul Settrini of Laveen, AZ, 4 grandchildren, Natalie Jeanne Van Rooy, of Lake Havasu, AZ, Jeffrey W. Crone of Lake Havasu, AZ, Will A. Hudson and wife Candy of Black Canyon City, AZ, Kyle L. Hudson of Phoenix, AZ, 4 great-grandchildren Angelica Michell Hudson, William Lee Hudson, Will A. Van Rooy and Jett William Lee Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brothers, Pete, Lindy and Ben Reed Bruton, and sister Nelda Ruth Dodson.
Services will be held Saturday, April 27, at 12pm at Funeraria del Angels, Yuma, AZ with Pastor Jon Flynt officiating. Internment will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, AZ.
