Obituary of Betty Downe Swadling

Lake Havasu City, AZ: 66, passed on December 28th, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She is survived by Robert Swadling, daughters Kelly Faust (Andrew) of Clifton Springs, NY and Heather Cruz (Ozzie) of Jupiter, FL and 4 grandchildren; Brooke & Tyler Faust and Oscar & Jax Cruz. Also survived by her sister Judy Haynes (Bob) of Lake Havasu City, AZ as well as her niece Kerry Wells, nephew Mike Haynes, their families and many cherished friends. Betty was born in Teaneck, NJ on June 3rd, 1948, daughter of Albro and Dorothy Downe. She earned an Associates degree in Business from Mitchell College in 1969. She worked at various jobs that included banking and light industry. Her most treasured job was the job she had at Dunlaps right in town. Betty even became known to many as "Betty Dunlap!" Betty put her heart into everything and everyone she met throughout her life. She was a friend to all! A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
