Ethel and I became friends at LHI. It was a pleasure to care for her. She liked to be around people who understood her needs. I would sneak her chocolate kisses all the time and she would give me the biggest smile. I was given the opportunity to say goodbye and kiss her on the forehead one more time. I'm so glad she is home. I know she is too. Nurse Karen

My name is Helen Williams. I have been taking Communion from Mt. Olive Lutheran Church to Ethel for 12 years. We shared many beautiful moments together. After she moved to Lake Hills, I continued visiting her with Communion and usually tried to be there at lunch time so I could feed her. She loved lunch and it gave us time to share things while she ate. By the time she was done, she was tired and ready for a nap.I will miss those times with her. I'm sorry our Church was not notified when or if there was a service. I would have liked to have been able to tell her Goodbye.
