Obituary of Ronald Lee Hunsaker
Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
February 27, 1949 - January 17, 2015
Ron went home to be with the Lord with his wife Janice by his side. Ron was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1978 where he raised his two sons. He served in the Navy from 1967 - 1970 and was a man who loved and honored his country.
Ron was a trucker by trade but there wasn't much he couldn't do - a true man's man. He made Lake Havasu City his home in 1993. It was there he met the love of his life, Janice. Together they enjoyed their Harley's, camping or enjoying time with their many friends. Most of all, Ron loved his family and never met a baby he didn't have a nick-name for.
Ron was a Charter Member of The Eagle Riders, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 4299, The Havasu Hangover Gang, and the Usual Suspects of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Ron is survived by his wife, Janice; mom, Grace; brother, Bill (Kathy) Hunsaker of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sisters, Sandra (Bob) Humbert of Junction City, Oregon, Cynthia (PC) Crabbe of Coolidge, Arizona; sons, JJ (Shawna) Hunsaker of Pleasant Hill, Oregon, Jeremy (Marlo) Hunsaker of Veneta, Oregon, Paul Pavelak of California, Shane Jordan of Chandler, Arizona, Paul (Jeanine) Jordan of Gig Harbor, Washington; Derek (Jamie) Jordan of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; 11 grandchildren, JR, Lexi, Courtney, Trevin (Alex), Chelsea, Michael, James, Tyler, Calli, Cade; and great-grandson, Emerson.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Norris (Red); brother, Jim Magoon; and grandson, Cole.
