Obituary of Patricia Ann Schmidt

Patricia Ann Schmidt January 20, 1943- March 19, 2016 Patricia Ann Schmidt, age 73, passed away with her family at her side on March 19, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Donald and Mildred Bixby on January 20, 1943 in Waterloo, Iowa. Spending her younger years in Iowa, Patricia graduated from East High in Waterloo. She moved to Colorado in her twenties, where she spent the following 37 years and finally retired to Lake Havasu City. Patricia was married to Roger Schmidt on May 14, 1960 in the couple's hometown. Together they worked in the insurance business for many years. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed shopping, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the VFW women's auxiliary and the Eagle's auxiliary. Patricia was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. Patricia is survived by her loving husband' Roger; daughters, Roxann (Ken) Peach and Kristin (David) Call; sister, Donna Reed; seven grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Ronald Schmidt. A memorial service was held on Monday March 21, 2016 at Calvary Baptist at 11:00am.
