Obituary of Elaine Ruth Di Lillo
Please share a memory of Elaine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elaine Di Lillo, 92 of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, a 35 year resident went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 2, 2015.
She was born on December 22, 1922 in Belmont, New York.
Elaine was swept off her feet at a skating rink when she had fallen by Pasqualle Di Lillo and soon became his wife. They were married on April 26, 1941 in Rochester, New York. She enjoyed her exciting life as a Navy wife and was eventually a busy mother to their six children. They were married for 40 years.
Elaine was a special mother. She would just light up at the chance to spend time with her family. A visit from her family would always warm her heart and make her day so special. Elaine could always bring about smiles and laughter with her amazing stories and blunt remarks. She loved a good game of Bingo! Her constant caring and worrying for us all had no bounds. Her family meant everything to her. We know she is with her husband now and probably dancing to their favorite Dean Martin song, but she was the foundation of our family and will be greatly missed.
Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Pasqualle Di Lillo; son, Daniel Di Lillo; two twin sons, Peter and Paul Di Lillo; granddaughter, Karen Di Lillo; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Di Lillo.
Elaine is survived by her cherished family: her children, Bonnie Gehring (Rol), John Di Lillo (Sue), Tom Di Lillo, Trisha Robinson (Jeff), and Cindy Smith (Bryan); her 11 grandchildren, Rolin Gehring, Susan Hause, Santino Di Lillo, John Gehring, Teresa Jones, Jessica Eidson, Jeffrey Robinson, Heather Bolden, Erik Padilla, Vanessa Padilla, Casey De Lillo; and her 11 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona at a later date.
Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to the Di Lillo family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
