Obituary of Sharon Delores Haynes
Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sharon Haynes loved the water and the mountains. If we were anywhere near water, you would look around, and she could always be found floating in the river. If there was water, she was in it. She loved animals. Growing up we had everything; mice as pets, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, horses and birds. We had to tell our mother that she couldn't bring home every stray she found. Our house was the place the kids all hung out. She wasn't only our mom, she was our rock; our security. No matter what happened in this world, her kids and grandkids always knew they had her.
She was born in Stockton, CA, and was a city girl who loved the ocean. She loved dancing and would turn on music and dance around the house with her little dogs (who are missing her very much). She liked playing pool, even though it was something she hadn't done in quite a long time. She loved driving, it made her feel content. One thing she didn't like was shoes. No matter what the weather was, she did not want to wear shoes. She would when she had to, but she didn't like it.
She is now with her Dad, Mom, and her brother Marty, who she lost after he came home from war many years ago. I still wake up thinking to myself, "I wonder if Mom is up so we can have coffee together."
Oldest Daughter,
Bobbie
To one of the most beautiful ladies ever born into this family and all of our lives,
She was our strength and courage to help is stay strong and carry on in the best and worst of times. To me, she was not only my mother, but also my best friend. She had a solid heart of gold, and had the strength to help everyone, all of her life. Even as she got older, she had more wisdom than all of us put together. Her strength kept the rest of us strong, and helped give us the same type of courage.
I miss her with all of my heart, but I know she will always be with all of us. I know when she gave birth to all of us that she passed on the same strength to carry on; even in times of sorrow and loss.
Miss your loving smile forever,
Your loving daughter,
Sherry
Sharon Haynes was a sweet, loving, caring, wonderful mother, sister, aunt, inlaw, grandmother and genuine friend to all who knew and loved her. She was the kind of woman who would rather spend her last $20.00 helping someone, than buy herself a much needed pair of shoes. She loved animals, sunsets, dancing, swimming, movies, good food, and family.
Her youngest (Her baby),
Paul
