Devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend George Willard Rothweiler, 78, was called up to the Lord on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Havasu Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. George was born on December 12, 1936 in Oak Park, Illinois to Willard and Bernice Rothweiler. In 1954, George enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served in the Philippines and Alaska until being honorably discharged in 1962. In 1977, George enlisted in the United States Army Reserve earning several awards, among them, the First Oak Leaf Cluster for Outstanding Service in 1988. He retired from the Army Reserve in 1996. During his retirement, along with his wife Raquel, he enjoyed joining and participating in organizations such as the Whittier Elks Lodge and Havasu Classics Car Club. George is also survived by his sons, Kurt, Scott and Todd, as well as their children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jack and his parents, Willard and Bernice. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home located at 21 Riviera Blvd, Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
