Obituary of Dennis Charles Lashway

Dennis Charles Lashway, Sr. passed away at 67 years of age on February 22, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Lawrence Leroy and Shirley Lashway in Northampton, MA on October 18, 1947. Dennis was wed to Kathryn Rose Hardwick in Williamsburg, MA on October 11, 1969; they were married for 45 years. Dennis has lived in Leverett, Williamsburg, and Conway, MA, and currently in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was the co-owner of Lashway Lumber with his father and brother, as well as an Operations Manager at CYN Environmental and Supervisor for Construction. He enjoyed the outdoors, Corvettes, antique cars. Dennis loved to collect and wear jewelry. He was strong, honest, and everyone that met him loved him and he was a true friend in return. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Lake Havasu City Daybreaker's Lions Club, Lake Havasu City, London Bridge Lions Club and the Social Club of New Englanders in Lake Havasu City. Dennis was a Bronze Star Metal recipient from the U.S. Army - Vietnam. Dennis is survived by his father, Lawrence Lashway of Williamsburg, MA; mother, Shirley Lashway of Williamsburg, MA; wife, Kathryn Lashway of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son, Dennis Lashway, Jr. of Plainfield, MA, daughter, Andrea Lashway of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother and wife, Gerald and Deborah Lashway of Williamsburg, MA; sister and husband, Jane and Bob Connelly of Scituate, MA, and sister Lori Lashway of Kingston, MA; as well as 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Monday, March 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
