With much love, tears, laughter and fond memories shared, Thomas "Tom" James Seamans' family let him leave this world to finish his coffee on his patio, do his crossword puzzles and have that last morning donut. He leaves his wife and best friend of 33 years, Shirley Seamans; his cherished sons, Kevin (Monaca), Christian (Heather), and Jonathan (Sarah) ; beloved grandchildren, Spencer, Laurissa, Lauren, Alison, and Kason; loyal dogs, Tillie and Angie; brothers, Don (Jenny) of Denver, and Rick (Eileen); Shirley's parents Annie and Paul Mayo, sister Terri (Ron) Patrick, nieces Amanda (Chris) Cardiel, and Bethany Richardson, nephew, Joey Patrick. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Seamans and Grace (Seamans) Reed, and his sister, MaryLynn Richardson.
Tom passed away at home with family nearby at 66 years of age on February 25, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Arthur Lee and Grace Agnes Seamans in Alhambra, on April 13, 1948. Thomas was wed to Shirley in March 1982 in Claremont, California.
Tom grew up in Glendora, California. Graduated from Glendora High School and attended Los Angeles City College. He served his country in the Marine Corps. He resided in Glendale, California before moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 16 years ago. He was the president of Beemak Plastics, Inc. in Gardena, California. He enjoyed fishing (both freshwater and deep-sea), hunting, boating (on the "Lucky Six" and "Don't Tell Mama"), reading and had a real flair for cooking. He was a member of the Rotary in Los Angeles, California as well as the Elks.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life near his birthday on April 11th on his beloved patio.
