Marion Louise Hingst died unexpectedly of health complications in Havasu Regional Medical Center on February 25, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the awesome age of 90.
Marion is survived by her two daughters; Murine (Don) Gray of Moab, Utah, and Nancy (Bill) Wenner of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; 2 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Duane H. Hingst of 56 years and her 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Marion was born on September 30, 1924, in Elbow Woods, North Dakota to Halvor & Anna Peterson, the last of 8 children. She graduated from Flaxton High School, Flaxton, North Dakota. She married Duane, her high school sweetheart in 1944. They made their home in Aurora, Colorado for 35 years, with a vacation home they built in 1972 in Breckenridge, Colorado before moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1984.
A funeral is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28th at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marion's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Disabled Veterans or a charity of your choice.
