Kay and I were best friends in the '70s and, as happens with even the best of friends sometimes, we grew apart as our lives changed. I have all good memories of a great friend who I'd been missing for several years. I know her marriage to Harold was a happy one, which was well deserved and which makes me happy when I think of it. I'm so thankful that we had the reunion in Oklahoma, hosted by Keith and Patricia. My memory isn't the best so I don't really remember meeting Kay as a child. I was so excited when I found out that Kay and Harold were coming to this wing-ding. Yes, a good time was had by all. We cousins (and aunts/uncles) enjoyed spinning Chapin tales, hanging out on Keith and Patricia's "ranchette" complete with horses, and eating some good grub. Glad I got to sit across the table from Harold and Kay at dinner out one evening. Harold, so glad you, Kay, and trusty dog went the extra mile(s) for this extra special Chapin cousins reunion. Several years ago we had a family reunion in Oklahoma, and Kay and Harold were the first to say they would come. They had to travel more than most, but did so with their trusty dog. Fun was had by all and some cousins met for the first time. I will always remember her. Keith D. and Patricia Chapin and their children David, Julie, Kristie and grandchildren
