Obituary of Michael Magallanes
Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Michael Magallanes, born May 19, 1935, left his earthly life at a too early age of 79 at home with family in Kingman, Arizona on March 7, 2015. Michael is survived and missed by his wife Helen of 57 years.
Michael was a devout Catholic, served in the Navy during the Korean War conflict and was involved with Boy Scouting for twenty years. He had an incredible zest for life, which included roller-skating, biking, camping and traveling the continent in his motor home. In their many years together, Michael and Helen traveled all over the world, which Michael documented with beautiful photography.
He leaves behind his three children, son; Michael and daughter-in-law Annette, daughter; Melonie and his "pain in the ass" son-in-law Roy, and son; Garry and daughter-in-law Bobbi. Six grandchildren also survive him; Yvette, Michael Scott, Destini, Roxanne, Lesa and Clint and nine great-grandchildren, along with a close extended family.
Services will take place on March 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Boulder City, Nevada, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
