Wilbert P. Koch, 95, passed away on February 15, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Gottfried and Frieda Koch on October 11, 1920 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was wed to Jeanette Bertha Katherine Burzlaff on November 26, 1948 in Puyallup, Washington. From 1942 to 1945, Wilbert served in WWII, Army Air Force as a staff sergeant in the B-29 assignment. He enjoyed playing fiddle, woodworking and painting. Wil is survived by his sister, Bertha Arnolt and his beloved granddaughter, Alexis Sorensen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gottfried Wilhelm Koch and Frieda Wilhelmina (Lippe) Koch; wife, Jeanette Bertha Katherine (Burzlaff) Koch; son, Peter Koch; brothers, Marvin and Arnold Koch and sister, Louise Johnson. A memorial service will be held for Wilbert at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10:00AM. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
