Obituary of Jeanne Frances Murphy

Jeanne Frances Murphy October 20, 1923 - March 12, 2015 Jeanne Frances Murphy passed away Thursday March 12, 2015. She was born October 20, 1923, to Daniel F. & Julia E. Murphy in Centuria, Wisconsin. Jeanne graduated from Mohave County Union High School in 1941 and later graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She then moved to Fresno, California and went to work for Producers Cotton Oil Company in 1953 and worked until retirement in 1988. She then moved back to Kingman to be close to her Mother. Jeanne was a beloved member of the community, involved with her church, the KRMC Foundation, the library as well as supporting many charities and organizations. As a 27-year resident of Kingman, Jeanne had a wealth of knowledge about the history and growth of the community. Jeanne is survived by her nephews, Daniel Hughes and Steven Hughes and niece, Cynthia Anaya. A celebration of life service will be held for Jeanne on Friday March 20, at 10:00 am at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, 302 E. Spring Street, Kingman, AZ 86401.
