Shirley R. Robinson passed away at 90 years of age on April 1, 2015 at Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to George and Almira York in York, ME on July 25, 1924. She was wed to John H. Robinson on August 18, 1946 in Portland, ME.
Shirley retired after 30 years employment at the Empire Fish Company in Gloucester, MA and then moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ where she lived for 30 years. She enjoyed lighthouses, Arizona Diamondbacks, game shows, cribbage and freecell computer games, seafood, the East Coast, and cruises. She was a member of the Southwest Baptist Church and the Lake Havasu Lighthouse Club.
Shirley is survived by her son, Thomas E. Robinson of Gardner, MA; daughter, Donalene V. (Michael S.) Ravitch of Boulder City, NV; brother, Wilbur York of Ellsworth, ME; sisters, Beverly Poole of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Kay Murray of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Amanda (Angelo) Mastantuono, Sara Ravitch, Shane Robinson; great-grandchildren, Milo Mastantuono and Dashiell Mastantuono. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Robinson and her stepson, David Robinson.
You will be remembered. You will be thought of with happiness. But most of all, you will be loved and missed by all who knew you!
The funeral service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home at 11 AM on April 8th. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Polidori House.
