Obituary of William Robert Wendt

William Robert Wendt passed away at 89 years of age on April 25, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to William Emil and Mildred Gertrude Wendt on May 24, 1925 in Omaha, NE. He was wed to Donna Wendt on October 7, 1946 in Omaha, NE; they were married for 64 years. He retired and lived in Havasu for approximately 30 years. William enjoyed radio controlled model airplanes and he was a member of Desert Hawks R.C. Club. He enjoyed Brailling books for kids and he developed a proofreading program for Braille on computers. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy G. Wendt of Lake Havasu City, AZ. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Wendt; and his parents, William and Mildred Wendt. Donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
