Obituary of Allie Stiles

ALLIE STILES Dec. 29th, 1916 / Mar. 12th, 2016 Allie, 99 years old, of Lake Havasu City, and formerly of El Centro, CA. Passed on peacefully March 12th, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Allie was born Dec. 29th 1916 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Bert and Lowesa Hunter. Allie had three sisters, Veda, Bessie, and Leaner, three brothers Alvin, Calvin and Elmer. Allie was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters, one granddaughter, Sheryl, two grandsons, Lebert Jr. and Roy, her daughter Wilma, her son Lebert and husband Hice. Allie marries Hice Stiles June 26th, 1932 in Alma, Arkansas. Allie and hice had five children. One daughter, Wilma and four sons, Lebert, Bobby, Ray and Hice Jr. Allie is survived by three sons Bobby, Ray and Hice Jr. and four loving daughter in-laws, Barbara, Glenda, Sandra and Lyn. Allie along with Hice & their younger family moved to California during the late 1930's and settled in the Imperial Valley area. There they raised their children and became very successful in the farming industry, growing crops of lettuce, cantaloupes, watermelons, carrots and cotton. Allie's favorite activities included visits and outings with her family and friends. Allie was an excellent cook and also enjoyed gardening, singing, dancing, fishing and attending church. Allie had 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild. Allie's family Six Generations became reality in 2011 with the birth of Kalia Colon which was celebrated in Lake Havasu City in October, 2011 with family and friends. Allie was a very strong willed person and was very supportive of the right things in life. Her life was her family and friends who will cherish eternal memories. Allie moved to Lake Havasu City with her son Ray and wife Sandra in 2006. Due to aging problems she entered Lake Hills Inn, nursing home, in October 2010 and was resident intil the end of her life March 12th 2016. Special thanks from the Stiles Family to the Lake Hills Inn staff for the incredible attention and care given during Allie's residency. Bonding and truly ever lasting friendships were made during this period. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1:00PM in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel (928) 855-4949. Graveside services will be held in El Centro, California Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00AM at Evergreen Cemetery ( 201 E. Gillett Road. El Centro, California. 92243) (760) 352-1468.
