Obituary of Charles Ronald Parker

Charles R. Parker passed away peacefully on May 1, 2015 at home with his family. Charlie was born October 2, 1937, in Decatur, IL. He met and married Phyllis Lucas Parker on April 27, 1957. After having four children, they came to Kingman in 1964 and had their last child. Charlie worked at Duval Mine for nine years, then went to work for Shuffler and Sons and retired as a finish carpenter. He helped start Kingman Youth League Football and spent many years coaching Little League baseball. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 58 years, Phyllis Parker; his sister, Sally (Carl) Gaither; his five children, Debbie (Bill) Shade, Rhonda (Ed) Walker, Teresa (Steve) Roth, Chuck Parker and Tim (Dawn) Parker; 10 grandchildren, Davia, Stephen, David, Jessica, Danielle, Ariel, Drew, Dakota, Serena and Sean; and seven great-grandchildren; Savanah, Mason, Ella, Lucas, Aria, Aj and Callahan. There will be a celebration of life at his home, 2507 Phoenix Ave., at 1L00 pm today, Sunday May 10, 2015.
