Obituary of Roger Kested

Roger Kested passed away at 65 years of age, May 2nd in Lake Havasu City. He was born August 6, 1949 and grew up in Crystal Lake, IL. He was wed to Carol in May, 1977 in San Jose, CA; they were married for 36 years. He retired from the City of San Jose in 2004 at the age of 54 and worked for 20+ years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He is was a member of the Moose Lodge in addition to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where he enjoyed social gatherings and entertainment. Roger is survived by his wife, Carol; his two daughters, Kristina Ferguson (Rick) of Campbell, CA and Debra Kested of San Francisco, CA. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles on June 9th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm; potluck. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
