George Charles Turek, Jr. passed away at 55 years of age on May 9, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Lorene Marie and George Charles Turek on September 24, 1959 in Encino, CA. George was educated at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA; CAL State Northridge in CA; and National University School of Forensic Science in LA. He enjoyed boating, skiing, golf, music, art, literature, history and traveling. He has lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ, Thousand Oaks, CA, Newport Beach, CA and San Diego, CA. George is survived by his mother, Lorene Marie Turek of Thousand Oaks, CA; daughter, Sarah Roman Turek of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother, Charles Tim Turek of Laguna Hills, CA, William Stoehr of Oceanside, CA, Greg Charles Turek of Pacifica, CA; sister, Madelyn Wheeler of New Orleans, LA; niece, Raine Marie Turek Ortiz; grand niece, Olivia Ortiz; and grand nephew, Christian Charles Ortiz. George is preceded in death by his father, George C. Turek, Sr. "Sail on endless seas." Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
