Obituary of Blanche Louise Stoffel

Blanche Stoffel, formally from Lismore, passed away at 93 years old on May 14, 2015 in Lake Havasu City AZ. She was born to Edward L. and Mary (Reisdorfer) Tentler on October 31, 1921. She attended Adrian High School and Mankato State College. Blanche married Robert (Babe) Stoffel on August 19, 1947 in California.
Blanche taught for over forty years in Country School #79 and others; Kanaranzi, Hardwick, Kenneth, Lismore, Reading and Worthington. She loved spending time with her family, reading, doing puzzles, traveling, bowling, spending the winters in AZ and playing cards; especially pinochle. She retired with her husband to Slayton until she moved to Lake Shetek to live with her daughters after Babe died in 1998.
She is survived by her daughters Verla Gayle and Vicki Stoffel, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Babe) Stoffel; parents, Ed and Mary Tentler; sister, Vivian Simmons; brothers, William and Keith Tentler.
A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers and memorials the family asks that contributions be made to St Anthony's Church Lismore.
