Richard Allen McCoy born to Dean and Pat McCoy (Zehring) in Tulare, CA, December 18, 1948 sadly, passed away in Kingman, AZ, February 20, 2016.
Rich grew up in Fresno, CA. He graduated from Hoover High School. He attended Fresno City College and Fresno State.
He enjoyed 67 years of Life. He always said, "I did it my way". He had many hobbies like water skiing, camping, four wheeling and car collecting. He was best known as the Jagnut.
He was the Owner of Butler Tire for 31 years. He has had the best customers and friends. He would entertain them. He could even ride his unicycle around the shop. He cherished his family and friends. This man loved to drive. Always loved a new adventure. He will be missed a lot. He knew how to fix many things.
He is survived by his son's, Kelly and Brandon McCoy, grandkids, Dawson, Andrew and Joey McCoy, Taylor Parlanti, sisters, Michelle Dolton, Rebecca McCoy and Patricia Liles and many nephews and nieces.
His life partner, Shawn Spear was by his side always. They enjoyed all of his hobbies together.
He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. We will never forget the laughter, smiles and even the tears that Rich shared with people.
Graveside Services will be on March 5, 2016, 10:00 am at Mountain View Cemetery, 1301 N. Stockton Hill Road. A Celebration of Life will be following at Butler Tire, 3183 N. Butler Ave. Flowers can be sent to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 1701 N Stockton Hill Road.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
