Obituary of Elizabeth BABBITT

Elizabeth Conner Babbitt, 66, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at home with family and friends present. She is survived by her three children, Bill, Bob and Steve; her sister, Magda; her nephew, George and her grandchildren, Courtney and Vance.Elizabeth immigrated to the United States following the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. Elizabeth and her parents settled in Aspen, CO where she attended high school. She graduated with honors and scholarship to the University of Colorado in Boulder where she met her husband to be, Bill Conner. In 1980, Elizabeth, Bill and the three boys (there's a special place in heaven for the mother of three boys) moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. In 1987 Elizabeth married David Babbitt, who passed away 13 years later following a courageous battle with cancer.Elizabeth's battle with cancer lasted for over one year, far beyond any prognosis. She and her family greatly appreciate all forms of support given by her network of friends. It is her family's desire that she be remembered for her strong faith, joy for life and her incredible courage.A Scripture service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2007, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
