Obituary of Samuel French

Samuel Kenneth French was born September 30, 1932 in Durham, North Carolina to Kenneth Ray French and Lillian Francis O'Briant, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the age of 80. His life was filled with love, humor and enthusiasm. He graduated from High School in North Carolina and then served 4 years in the Navy. Shortly after his honorable discharge, he became employed with General Telephone Company - until he decided to retire. Sam and the love of his life, Phyllis moved from Sequim, WA to Lake Havasu City in 2006. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working in the yard, detailing & pin-stripping cars and spending time with his family and friends. Many would agree that Sam had a rough exterior, but a beautiful interior. He loved to help others and make people laugh. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis. His sister, Anne French of Ontario, Canada. Daughter, Rene J. Kennicutt of Lake Havasu City & son, Lance Flynn French of Laguna Niguel, California. Daughter by marriage, Corinne Besler of Pocatello, Idaho. Grandchildren: Devon Arnott, Adam Arnott (Elizabeth), Jacob Arnott (Constance) and Mark A.D. Kennicutt. Six great-grandchildren. The stars shall glimmer extra bright on this night as the spirit of a great man shines within their light. Rest in Peace Samuel Kenneth French.
