Obituary of Louis McDERMOTT

Louis Arthur McDermott Jr., 76, passed away June 16, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born September 22, 1925 in Somerville, MA to Louis & Mary "Quigley" McDermott. Louis moved to Arizona 13 years ago, 7 years ago from Huntington Beach, CA. He was a self employed truck driver for 45 years. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Jo Knight of Lake Havasu; sons David McDermott of Santa Barbara, CA, Dan McDermott of San Jose, CA, Mike McDermott of San Clemente, CA, Brandon Knight of Huntington Beach, CA, Randy Knight of Idaho; daughters Diane Tortolano of Los Altos, CA, Daryl Milanowski of Sunnyvale, CA, Dena Clements of Fullerton, CA, Shraddha Knight of Valley Center, CA, Monica Bates of Oakhurst, CA; brother Frank McDermott of Mass.; sister of Kathryn Satterfield of Mass. and 14 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 21 at 10:30 am at Riverside National Cemetery in Calif with burial to follow. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
