Obituary of Eric MENKE

Eric Dennis Menke 53, passed away in his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 5th, 2002. He was born on October 26th, 1948 to Gordon Menke and Reva "Gahr" Menke in Long Beach, California. He worked for Orange Co. Sanitation District as a machinist for 22 years in Huntington Beach, California. Eric was a veteran of Vietnam in the U.S. Army and was a resident in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for 2 years from Long Beach, California. Eric is survived by his mother Reva Menke of Long Beach, California, brother Nick Menke and his wife Debbie of Huntington Beach, California, sisters Rhonda Menke of Lakewood, California, Debra Bird and her husband Bud of Anaheim, California, significant other Sandy Smith of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Gordon Menke and his son Nicholas Menke. Services will be held later in the week at Dilday Brothers 17911 Beach Blvd. Huntington Beach, California 92647 (714) 842-7771. Burial will take place at Good Shepherd Cemetery 8301 Talbert Ave Huntington Beach, California (714) 847-8546. Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
