Donald L. Caldwell of Lake Havasu City died peacefully in his sleep at Havasu Regional Medical Center on July 5, 2002. He was born on December 26, 1934 in Pontiac, MI. Don joined the Marine Corps in 1954 and retired after 30 years of service. He started working in Nuclear Security for P.G.&E. in Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant in California for 10 years, after which he retired and relocated to Lake Havasu City with his wife Ursula. He was a life member of the VFW Post 9401 in Lake Havasu, Santa Monica Elks Lodge #1538 in California, American Legion Post 81 in Lake Havasu, Fleet Reserve Association, Fraternal Order of Eagles 4299 in Lake Havasu, Loyal Order of Moose in Lake Havasu, Associate member of the Elks 2399 in Lake Havasu and a life member of the Marine Corps League in Lake Havasu. He is survived by his wife, Ursula of Lake Havasu; son David and his wife Margaret of Ripon, California; daughter Suzanne and her husband Roque of Twentynine Palms, California; granddaughters Stephanie, Shawna, Andrea; grandson Jackson and great granddaughter Tayler; brother Ralph of New Berlin, Illinois and his family. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
