Virgil Frederick Day 86, passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 18th, 2002. He was born in Flint, Michigan on March 8th, 1916 to Martin Day and Anna Catherine "Hecker" Day. He worked as a warehouseman for 9 years at McCulloch Corp. in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He moved to Arizona 52 years ago from Flint, Michigan where he was a journeyman machinist for General Motors then he moved to Phoenix and worked for Reynolds Metals. He then traveled around for a few years before settling here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Virgil is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Helen Day of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and a sister Marcelyn Bohl of Upland, California. Donations may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Virgil's name. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
