Obituary of Burness KIRK

Burness "Bernie" Kirk, 87, passed away July 23, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born April 18, 1915 in Vincennes, Indiana to Percy & Myrtle "Dicus" Kirk. Bernie moved to Lake Havasu 16 years ago from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. He worked as a machinist for Kaiser Steel in Fontana, CA for 15 years. Mr. Kirk is survived by his son Bernie P. Kirk of Port St. Lucie, Florida; daughter Donna B. Chavez of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister-in-law Violet Nolan of Waterford, MI; grandchildren David Kirk Lyons, Margaret Ann Krick, Lisa Bernice Taylor, Vickie Kirk and Billie Beaton and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Annie who passed away in 1989. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 28, 2002 from 6 to 8 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Graveside services will be Monday, July 29, 2002, 9:00 AM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Richard Rounds officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
