John Wortham Lofton 78, passed away peacefully in his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 24th, 2002. He was born on January 4th, 1924 in Tioga, Louisana to Walter Lofton and Ida "Hale" Lofton. John worked as a framer for La Casa Framing in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for 9 years. He moved to Lake Havasu City 25 years ago from Altadena, California. He also was a proud veteran of the US Navy in WW II as a Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class and is a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Pauline Lofton of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, sons Ron Lofton of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Mike Lofton of Durango, Colorado, Steve Lofton of Monrovia, California, Bob Lofton of Phoenix, Arizona, sister Ruby June Whitworth of San Antonio, Texas and 7 grandchildren. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Havasu. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
