Obituary of Marc SMITH

Marc Stuart Smith died following a long battle with leukemia on July 30, 2002. He was born September 18, 1956 in New York City, New York. Mark served in the US Army where he specialized in electronics. After the army, Marc returned to Greenwich, Connecticut and became a locally recognized expert in fine wines. His reputation as a wine connoisseur led to work as a wine consultant and sommelier for several well known establishments in the Greenwich area.Marc is survived by his sister Michele Cathy Hade of Woodland Hills, Calif; nieces Shayne Dahl Lamas and Dakota Jordan Pike both of Woodland Hills, CA.; his nephew A.J. Lamas of Sherman Oaks, Calif. and his many friends in Lake Havasu.A memorial service for Marc will be held at the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Thursday, August 8, 2002 at 3:00 pm.Donations may be made in Marc's name to the National Bone Marrow Donor Bank.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
