Obituary of Rita VERNAU

Rita C. Vernua 75, passed away peacefully at her home on August 6, 2002. She was born on May 22, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late Katherine and John Krautheim.Rita had been coming to Lake Havasu since 1980. She and her husband retired here in 1986 from Southern California. Rita loved her two boys, their wives and her five grandchildren, as much as they loved her. She would spend as much time with them as possible. Rita loved her many friends here in Lake Havasu and other parts of the country and she also was loved by them. She enjoyed crafts, making ceramics and taking trips to Laughlin and Las Vegas with her husband and their many friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Leroy, sons Richard and Daniel of Chico, CA., her sister Bernadine of Los Alamitos, CA. and 5 grandchildren, Jade, Jordon, Ryan, Rory and Nalani all of Chico, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Rita's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Az. 86405. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
