Clarence Richard Wheat was born on July 30, 1920 in Clinton, IL. and lived 82 years; Died a peaceful death on August 9, 2002 in his home in Lake Havasu City, Az. He is survived by l sister, Helen High and one daughter, Kimberly Marisa Wheat. He was preceded by his parents, Rena and Lawrence, his brother Earl, his sister Ella and his wife Zola Wheat, (l920-l984).Clarence retired from Douglas Aircraft Company after over 30 years. He was married for many years to Zola, and raised a daughter. After he was widowed, he had another significant loving relationship for a number of years with Marie. He had a full life with many adventures. He traveled over much of this country, as well as cruises to the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal and Alaska. He also enjoyed vacationing in Mexico. He like to explore the desert and camping in nature. In later years he spent much of his time relaxing in his backyard with friends, telling stories about his life. He was a loving and kind man and a devoted father. He will be missed.Contributions may be made to Hospice of Havasu. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
