Alice V. Parks, 82, completed her transition from the physical world to the spiritual world, May 25, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Alice was born August 23, 1922 in St. Margaree, Nova Scotia and moved to Lake Havasu City from Michigan in 1974 with her husband, Richard T. Parks.Alice graduated from Boston City Hospital with a degree as a registered nurse. She practiced in Boston, Michigan and Havasu until 1995. She is well remembered by her many friends for her love of Irish songs, storytelling and parties. She was a talented painter of China and canvas. Her sense of humor was intact till the end.Alice is survived by her daughter, Audrey Baenziger of Oakland Township, MI; sons, Richard J. Parks of Clarkston, MI, Raymond Parks of Carmel, CA and James Parks of Birmingham, MI; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Lake Havasu, AZ for their invaluable assistance and caring professional support which greatly eased her passing and requests that donations be made in her name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405, in lieu of flowers, cactus, or cards.Memorial services will be held in Birmingham, MI and arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
