Shirley Veta Swansey, 71, passed away September 23, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born September 7, 1931 in Blue Springs, Missouri to John & Emily "Weiss" White.Shirley moved to Lake Havasu 16 years ago from Lansing, Illinois. She was a member of the Lamb of God Lutheran Church. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William Donald "Don" Swansey of Lake Havasu; son, William Lance Swansey of North Dakota; mother, Emily Krchov of Lake Havasu; sisters, Verle Keiffer and Edna Kozell both of Lake Havasu and 4 grandchildren. She is preceded in by her son John Michael Swansey.A visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2002, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will also be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, September 28, 2002 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Harrold Kallio officiating.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
