James D. "Dave" Hagerty, 73, passed away December 22, 2002 at Havasu Regional Medical Center. He was born in Parsons, Kansas on September 9, 1929 to Herb and Margaret Hagerty.After joining the air force in 1950, he was stationed at Fairford, England Royal Air Force Base for three years where he met his wife Patricia. After his discharge from the air force in 1954, they moved to Covina, California where he retired from the Serta Mattress Co. Dave and his wife stayed in Covina until they moved to Lake Havasu City in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, hooking rugs and especially enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He was very much loved and will be sorely missed.Mr. Hagerty is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia Hagerty of Lake Havasu; two sons, James Hagerty and his wife Cindy of San Diego, California and Michael Hagerty of La Puente, California; daughters, Bonnie Schneider & her husband Wes of San Diego, California, Kelly Johnson and her husband Greg of Lake Havasu and Cathy Hagerty of Fullerton, California; brothers, Jerry Hagerty of Azusa, California and Bill Hagerty of La Puenta, California and four grandchildren, Brandon Hagerty, Kyle Hagerty, Whitney Hagerty and Chloe Johnson .A visitation will be held Thursday, December 26, 2002, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 27, 2002, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with Father Jorge Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with military honors.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
