Carroll Thomas Griffis of Lake Havasu City, Az; died at his home on October 15th, 2002. He was 94 years old.Carroll was born on March 12th, 1908 to Frank and Anna Griffis at the family home in Carson, Iowa. The family moved to Harrison County, Iowa farm in 1921 and he lived and farmed here until he retired in 1972.Carroll and Besse enjoyed 57 years of marriage, farming, fishing and traveling. Their retirement of Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1973 and building their home was a dream long planned and fulfilled.He was a member of Community Presbyterina Church and a lifetime member of the Masons and Eastern Star.Carroll is survived by his daughter Barbara "Bobbi" Jean Campbell and his granddaughter Pamela Jean Campbell of Bullhead City, Arizona and son-in-law Jerry Campbell of Olathe, Kansas. He is preceded in by his wife Besse and grandson J Carroll.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Az. 86405.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
