Edwin William Spence, 68, passed away May 7, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to John and Gladys (Norman) Spence on November 21, 1936 in Bridgeport, CN.Edwin entered the Air Force following graduation from high school, serving 20 years and retiring in 1975 as a tech sergeant. Following his military service, he went to work as a computer designer for Lockheed-Martin in Denver, CO. While living in Colorado, Edwin took up painting and became a very good artist according to his family. His other hobbies included fishing and golf. Edwin made Lake Havasu his home 3 years ago from Centennial, CO.Edwin is survived by his beloved bride of 49 years, Sheila Spence; son, Christopher C. Spence of Denver, CO and one brother, Roy Spence of St. Petersburg, FL.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Condolences may be submitted to www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
