Bernard (Bunny) M. Port, 87, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, since 1982, formerly a longtime resident of Marion, Iowa, passed away November 12, 2002.Bernard was born November 18, 1914 in Springville, Iowa, the son of Claude and Anna "Larson" Port. He married Faye Anthes on May 25, 1943. Bernard retired after many years from Iowa Bearing Company of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.Survivors include a daughter Sally Dempsey and husband Jack of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; a daughter Ginger Springer and husband Bobby of Hartsel, Colorado; a son Bruce Port and wife Sarah of Hillsboro, Oregon; a brother Millard Port of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a sister Darlene Langridge of Marion, Iowa, and a granddaughter Eileen Dempsey of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.Inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
