Barbara "Bobbie" Ruth Beeler, 70, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2002. She was born on January 9, 1932 in Chehalis, Washington to Charles & Bonnie "Upshaw" Fowler.Bobbie moved to Lake Havasu 29 years fraom Concord, California. She's been an Xray Technician for 47 years, 12 years of that she worked with Dr. McLaughlin here in Lake Havasu.She was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, a member of the Xray Society and has been a Hospice Volunteer. She loved to cook, macrame and especially loved to do yard work. She was the "ultimate hostess". Buck, her loving husband always referred to her as his "bride".Bobbie will be sadly missed by her family, her husband of 50 years, Buck Beeler of Lake Havasu; sons, Scott S. Beeler of Kennewick, Washington and Mark M. Beeler of Golf Breeze, Florida; daughters, Marcia L. Hampton of Lake of the Hills, Illinois and Lisa M. Beeler of Lake Havasu; aunt, Kate Salkeld of Chehalis, Washington; her sister Rose Schnatterly of Centralia, Washington, Betty Smith of Medford, Oregon and seven grandchildren.A memorial service will be held Friday, November 29, 2002, 1:00 PM at Mount Olive Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating.The family respectfully request donations be made in her name to Hospice of Havasu.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
