Betty G. Bottorff, 77, passed away November 14, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born July 26, 1925 in Shelbyville, Indiana. Betty has been a resident of Lake Havasu for 14 years, moving to Arizona 57 years ago from Shelbyville, Indiana. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Lake Havasu and a past matron of the Eastern Star of Moovalya Chapter #42 in Parker, Arizona. Betty played the organ for First Southern Baptist Church of Parker and Quartzsite from 1960 to 1998. She loved to cook and everyone loved her food.Betty's father's mother was a descedent of the Hank's family and was a second cousin of Abraham Lincoln.She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Donovan Bottorff of Lake Havasu; sons, Larry Donovan Bottorff of Brunswick, Georgia, Myron Kent Bottorff of Lake Havasu, George Edward Bottorff of Vienna, Austria and Roger Dale Bottorff of Buela Vista, Arkansas; daughters Sherry Lynn Fullerton of Las Vegas, Nevada and Cindy Lou Pool of Lake Havasu. She is also surived by her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Betty is preceded in by her parents Earl & Mary "Sanders" Morgan; her brother William Morgan; sisters, Margaret Alice Smith and Vivian "Earlene" Whited; grandfather Geremiah Morgan and grandmother Sarah Hutchinson.Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 20, 2002, 10:00 AM at First Southern Baptist Church in Lake Havasu with Rev. James Maynard officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
