Gerald Allen Ahern, 54, passed away on November 18, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on February 1, 1948 in Denver, Colorado.Gerald moved to Lake Havasu 5 years ago from Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked as a bartender for Caesar's Casino. He also bartended at the Nautical Inn here in Lake Havasu. In the past Gerald worked for Colorado Kenwerth Trucking Company and Mohave Concrete doing body and fender work. He even had his own mobile body shop while he was in Carpenteria, California.Mr. Ahern will be greatly remembered for his time as director for the Boy's Club in Denver, Colorado teaching arts and crafts. He loved to ride horses and owned his own mini horse ranch while residing in Las Vegas.He is survived by his loving family, mother, Patricia Milano of Lake Havasu; daughters, Amy and Terry Ayn of San Diego, California; brothers William and Robert Ahern both of Las Vegas, Nevada and his sister Peggy Pruitt of Fitzgerald, Georgia.The family respectfully asks that donations be made to the American Lung Association in lieu of flowers.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
