Obituary of Joseph TIMMONS

Joseph W. Timmons 84, of Lake Havasu City, AZ. passed away Sunday, December 8th, 2002. He was born August 4th, 1918 in Havre, Montana. He served in the U.S.Army during WWII. In 1943 he married Florence M. McGuinn. After the war they moved to Shelby, Montana, where he worked for the Montana Highway Department and there they raised three children, Jane, John, and Steven. In 1980 he retired and moved with Florence to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Both were avid golfers and enjoyed their retirement in Arizona.He is remembered as a loving father and grandfather and is survived by his children, Jane Chapman of Jackson, WY; John Timmons of Missoula, MT; Steven Timmons of Auburn, CA; as well as 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.He will be greatly missed.Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
